Cassidy Gearhart is an editor whose work balances rigorous craft and deeply felt storytelling.

He comes from a rare, fully realized multidisciplinary foundation. Editor. Designer. Writer. Animator. Each discipline mastered independently and brought to bear on his work with intention.

His work is rooted in texture, atmosphere, and interior human experience; an approach influenced by the DIY cultures he grew up on - hardcore and punk, skateboarding, and zine-making - giving him a broad artistic vocabulary spanning the likes of The Bauhaus, Eggleston, Lynch, Fluxus, and Reid Miles

This depth allows him to shape films with the precision of someone fluent in every layer of the process as he builds structure, rhythm and meaning from the inside out with a voice equal parts formal discipline and emotional intuition.

The result is spectacle that is grounded in authenticity; with performance, gesture, and detail carrying as much weight as design.

Whether cutting spots for Uber, LincolnUnder Armour's "The Only Way Is Through" campaign, trailers for Oscar-winning director Ross Kauffman and Peabody Award-winning director Kim A. Snyder, episodes of the Roku series The Fix (narrated by Samuel L. Jackson), or the viral hot-rod short The Real Thing, he brings this same narrative discipline and visual rigor to each project.

Born in Kalamazoo and raised in Annapolis, Cassidy spent a decade in New York City before relocating to Los Angeles, bringing a life full of risk, curiosity, and observation to shape emotionally resonant, meticulously crafted stories that are driven by feeling as much as form.
